1. First transfer of sponsorship
In July 2008 we could convey the first sponsorship to Sandra Heupel from Düsseldorf. Sandra took the sponsorship for Gita Sherpa, who can now attend the Highland Boarding School in Dhunche. Many thanks again to Sandra.
Sandra Heupel's motives for taking over the sponsorship and information about the placement of sponsorships, will shortly be available on our homepage under the new heading "Sponsorship”.
2. Painting Buddha statues
The Buddhist priest “Lama” designed, manufactured and donated five beautiful statues for the monastery in Brabal. During our stay in Brabal, in the beginning of July 2008, some members of Sunaulo Sansar could help to paint these statues.
This was a wonderful and unforgettable experience. The photos show a part of the creative result.
